Legal Question in Family Law in California

So I have a somewhat of an interesting situation. I am a kid born out of wedlock. My father had an agreement made with my mother outlining some points about paying for college and inheritance when he passes away. I was supposed to get college paid for as long as i was enrolled in school and I was supposed to get equal inheritance as the other three kids that he has not born out of wedlock. My mother however, went back to get a child support increase and in the process never got the first agreement made verified to see if it still stood after the child support increase. My question is am I still entitled to college being paid for and equal inheritance as the other children?

All I can tell you is "maybe." Without sitting down with the documents and the support case history and going over all the facts, there is no real way to answer the question. I can tell you, however, that if he makes a will that is properly drafted to exclude you, it will be successful in excluding you from inheritance. If he dies without a will and paternity is established, you will share equally with the other children.
