International Child Custody
What is a typical/fair time share to suggest to out 15 yr old's Mom as we are moving to Germany? His desire is to go but we are trying to avoid spending thousands of dollars again.

Re: International Child Custody
Depends upon what everyone can afford and upon what the 15 year old's schedule is, among other things. If a regular school schedule, a good amount of time in the summer, 1 to 2 months. Then frequently there is time at Christmas, or any regular breaks in the school schedule. That might be as much as 25%
Re: International Child Custody
There is no "typical" timeshare. I would suggest that you start by considering that the boy will spend all non-school time with the non-custodial parent. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

In addition to the other responses you could consider high speed internet and a webcam in the 15 year old's home and the home of the other parent. Then they could schedule regular time to see and communicate over the internet on a regular basis.
