Legal Question in Family Law in California

issues

I have full custody of all three of my children. I am the Mother. Currently the children's father has no visits or custody due to child abuse and spousal abuse and there is a restraining order in place. The children's father continues to request visits with the children from the court, and has been denied. He was recently ordered to take a 52-week batterer's course for domestic abuse. I want to know if I move to another state because my now new partner is moving there for job and family purposes, would the courts let me move? What can my children's father do to me legally to try and stop me from moving because I know he is going to put up a fight?

Re: issues

You can probably move. Make sure you follow your current court orders. You should have an office consultation with an attorney before you do anything.
