Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex is I'm jail awaiting trial for multiple felony's. I already have sole physical custody and he has supervised visits that he never shows up for. His mother has now filed a joinder for custody/visitation. Our child is 1 year old and hasn't had much contact with the paternal grandparent. Will she have the same visitation already awarded to the father if I object?
