Legal Question in Family Law in California

Joinder

How difficult is it to get a joinder? My ex is hiding vehicles, artwork, ect at his girlfriends house to avoid paying a past judment in our divorce settlement. I have a copy of the car insurance policy showing both he and she as residents at her address and a check for over $10,000 he had my minor son sign to pay the rent at another address. She owns property in the US, he has offshore accounts and property in sham corporations in foreign countries. Do I need to subpeona and dipose her? Should I subpeona records from the previous owner of the Jaguar he paid $$$$ for and then put in his girlfriends name? Would it be more effective to request an exparte right of attachment for the art and vehicles and ask the judge for an assignment order against his commissionable wages? He has eight sources of commissionable income. Please advise. I work two jobs and am trying to recover financially. The judgment is now over $130,000.

I recently taught a seminar in collection of family law judgments at the local court. There are several options that you have. I do not have a clear picture of what you are talking about concerning all of his income and the vehicle. You should start with a writ of execution and then attach any assets you can find. You may wish to call me.
