Legal Question in Family Law in California

How do I go from joint custody to full custody?

My ex-husband and his girlfriend are refusing to make sure that my oldest daughter gets to school by 8am. They are telling her that she needs to find another way or flunk out of that class, which she needs to graduate. I do not know what to do. I would like to take him back to court and obatin full custody of the children while they are in school. What are my options and the likely hood that I will be able to do this?

If father is refusing to take the child to school you can file for a modification of the child sharing to change the time he has the children so that he does not take her to school and he will then probably pay more child support. Get a consultation with an attorney about this so that you have a good idea of what will happen in court. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
