Legal Question in Family Law in California
I have joint legal custody with my ex husband. Right now he has sole physical. We have a pending hearing date for April for me to get sole custody. I get my son the 1st, 3rd and 5th weekend of every month, plus shared holidays/vacations/birthdays. My ex husband's girlfriend has stopped all communication between my ex and I, & my son and I. She won't allow him to respond to my emails and texts, as well as my requests to speak to my son on the phone. I go weeks at a time not speaking to my son. & never any responses back. If I were to go back to court tomorrow, what actions could I take in enforcing contact with my son?

I think you are confused. Sole physical custody does not include you having your son every other weekend. If he is refusing to allow you to call your son during periods where he has custody, that could be a reason to change the amount of visitation you have. You should consult an attorney to assist you with this matter. These situations need to be handled by someone who is familiar with family law court.
