how do you get a judge to look at income tax forms or pay stubs and not take what the other parent says as true?

1. Serve other side with a demand to appear and produce documents. You will have to check the time requirements. Off the top of my head I think its 20 days (plus 5 if mailed)
2. Insist on a continuance if other side is lying and shows up without an Income and Expense Declaration that is accompanied by paycheck stubs and an Income tax return.

Hire an attorney who knows the rules of evidence and will not mess up obtaining the records and getting them received into evidence in the case.
