Legal Question in Family Law in California
The judge ordered my ex and I to come up with a holiday schedule on the day of our hearing. The judge signed the findings and order after hearing on the day of our case, but he did not sign the holiday schedule. My ex had our daughter on Thanksgiving and I complied with the agreement we had made, but now that he is suppose to have her back to me this evening he is telling me that the holiday schedule is not signed and not enforceable. This is normally his weekend, but according to the holiday schedule it is mine. Is he correct in withholding her from me? The police do not get involved in civil matters and won't enforce it either way apparently.

The holiday schedule should have been party of the Findings & Order After Hearing if the Judge ordered it. If it's not, you should file an amended Findings & Order After Hearing that includes the holiday schedule. If the Order is signed by the Court, the police should enforce it.
