Mr. Savransky is wrong. The point of a find-work order is to affect child and sometimes spousal support. The motion you need to file is not contempt (even though he is in contempt) but rather a motion to modify support to be based on what he could be earning. The penalty for failing to comply with find work order is that you get ordered to pay support based on what the court finds you could earn, rather than what you are earning (or not earning as the case may be). Nothing focuses the mind on a job search faster than having to pay support as if you had a job.
