Legal Question in Family Law in California
Hi my name is karina i had ask for an advice on behalf of my father in law. well i would like to tell you my story and see if you can help me. i used to have my own place then my fiance(sergio) came along and moved in with me.(note: i have two kids from my previous marrige.) my father in law (ramon) had asked us to move in his house to save money due to the economy and all. in the home sergio's mom (violeta) and sister (yessica) and yessicas 2 minor daughters lived there as well. well got along in the home, untill one day all the problems started were sergio would tell his mom not to be smoking infront of the kids, or when sergio would tell his sister not to be using any faul language infront of the kids. on other ocasions i would witness when yessica would literally phisically,mentaly and emotionaly abusse her daughter's, for exanple: yessica would call them hoes, bitches, stupid ass, fuck you, ect. or when it came down to disipline them yessica would beat them with object's in the face, or pull their hair's, ect. but yessica was not the only one violeta her mother would do the same thing. but the worse thing is that violeta was worse on this girls. violeta is mentaly ill, so she recieves medications for her illness wich is for bypolar and skitsofrania, medications that she hasent been taking for meybee years, i know because i have seen all her medications laying around and are dated from 07' and 08'. so one day with the support of my fiance i called social servises, yessica's 2 daughter's were removed from the home. that same day they were removed she tryied to attack me with a kitchen knife twice i had to call the police but yessica and violeta has fled the seen. next day i had seeked a restraining order against yessica which she has to be removed from the home. now where the problems comes is that i never had any type of problems with the law im always doing the right thing, i dont belive in hitting my children, or use foul language, i dont consider myself a perfect mother but i consider myself good mother. today 9/15/09 i had just came home from school @ 9pm i have notice a buissness card from a social worker and on the top of the card there was my name, i know it was yessica and violeta that are trying to this to me making my life impossible, the reason i knoe because they have threatended me that they were going to do the imposible to have my kids taken away since yessica's kids were taken away because of me. i dont think i did anything wrong i think i was trying to save a child from living the life that they were living, those 2 lil girls did not deserve it.now everybody looks at me like im the evil one in the fairy tale, i really dont care because i know i did the right thing. my question is that is there anything i can do agains yessica and violeta? can i press charges agains them for false acusations or for not letting me live in peace? this situation might be a lil weard but honestly im bursting in tears because i dont know how to make these women to leave me alone. please help me. please give me an advise or whats recomendable for me to do in this situation.

Before you get too upset, you should call the social worker. It is possible the person needs to talk to you about yessica's kids. Even if it is about your kids, and you are a good mother and keep a good home and take good care of your kids, you should not have anything to worry about if you just cooperate with the social workers and show them how well your kids are cared for.
