Legal Question in Family Law in California
In regards to keeping my child away from the wrong people. My ex wife has visitation with our two year old son three times a week . 3 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays and eight on Saturdays I have full physical custody she is in a relationship with a known child predator(convicted) who was also one f her high school teachers , she also abuses prescription medications but has not been charged with anything regarding that. I've tried to get the court to see that my son being around this man (who is also 30 years her senior ) is unhealthy and not safe I was able to keep him away and had te visitations supervised until the judge ordered that the family code 3030 was not applicable in this situation because he molested girls not boys , I myself don't feel my son should be around someone of that character or obvious abuse of authority over his mother , is there anything I can do to protect my son further from this situation ? I've yet to file for child support but will be in the next month due to paying daycare at almost $700 a month .
