how to kick out common law husband

a friend wants to ''evict'' the man she has been living with for 20 years. He is the father of her two grown children, , but she is not interested in recieving money. The house is in her name and she wants a legal way to get him to leave.What can she do?

There's no such thing as a common law spouse in California (unless the parties became common law spouses in another state before relocating). Thus, as the owner of the property, she can simply evict him.
