Legal Question in Family Law in California
seeing my kids
I have Jt legal custody of my kids and unfortunately I have had to have supervised visits with my kids for the last 6 months but our court orders say that on Dec 26 I can have regular visitation with my kids every other weeekend. My ex wife is already beginning to threaten to not let me see the kids without supervision after the 26 even though the orders say I can. There is no history of abuse or anything in the orders. I am really worried that my ex will not hold up her end of the orders on the 26th...what options do I have if she gives me a hard time? What legal action can I take to make sure she complies? I have nothing in my life that should keep me from my kids, the judge ordered these supervised visits b/c he said that I was away from my kids for so long and they are so young that I needed to be re introduced in their lives. I've done everything that I am supposed to do, my ex is just being dificult and bitter. Please help.

Re: seeing my kids
You can ask a police officer to go with you to keep the peace as you pick up your child. Have a custody attorney look at your order for more options or suggestions. Without reviewing the current order it is not possible to advise you. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
