Legal Question in Family Law in California

My kids want to live with me not their mum, she has no legal custody of them. Is it legal for me to let them?

Children do not have a final say in custodial placement. When they are older and in their teens, the court may give some weight to their desires but it is not a final conclusion. Please meet with an experienced family law attorney to explore your legal options.
