Legal Question in Family Law in California
I don't want my kids visiting certain people during visitation
My husband has initiated a divorce from me. He does not want to take the kids from me, except for regular visitation. At the current time, I do not want my children visiting him where he is living. Does he have the right to do whatever he wants with the kids while they're visiting him? There are a handful of people I do NOT want my kids around, and a few activities that seem inappropriate for them. Do I have the right to refuse to let him do and see those things and people that I object to? He is living with one of the people I do not want the kids around. Can I make him visit with them somewhere else?

Re: I don't want my kids visiting certain people during visitation
Each parent can unless ordered by the court take the children whereever they wish. This of course has the same limitations as would be placed upon any parent. Unless a particular place or person would place the child in possible danger the court will not order him not to take the child there.
