Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am asking for lawyer fees In a Family Law case do I need to submit an Income and Expense report? There was an attempt to join me to this family law case of which I am not a party. OC was uncooperative when my attorney needed a continuance and subsequently ran up lawyer fees. I am uncomfortable making my income and expenses a matter of public record as the party that tried to join me is still harassing me. Who sees Income and Expense reports?

Whenever attorneys fees or any financial issues are at issue, you are required to submit current income and expense declarations. You should ask your attorney to prepare one. They are available to the public as public record. Any attachments however can be blacked out in regards to sensitive numbers and information.

Please consult a local attorney in your area prior to taking legal action. Good luck.
