Legal Question in Family Law in California

my lawyer to negotiate with my husband before court?

I just want to know if it is the best for my lawyer to negotiate first with my husband(who's representing himself) before going to court. My lawyer says, it would be cheaper for both of us. Pls. advice me on this ASAP!!!

Is she saying this so we could pay for her service for ''mediation''...is this better than her representing me ONLY? pls. reply ASAP!!!

thank you so much!

You should be listening with your attorney. If you have lost faith in your attorney then discuss it with the attorney. If you cannot resolve the issue and regain trust then seriously consider changing attorneys. As a general rule negotiating is not only cheaper, but it generally provides the best result.
