If a lawyer is provided free through work and the teamsters union. Is the person represented by this lawyer responsible for any payment for the other persons lawyer because of an unfair advantage

Possibly. In family court the judge has wide discretion to allocate attorneys fees to achieve substantial fairness in representation. If the other spouse is a stay-at-home wife, there is a good possibility that the court could order the husband to pay some part of her fees if he was represented for free. On the other hand if she was a $500,000/yr CFO, the court would probably be quite happy to let her pay her own attorney.
