Legal Question in Family Law in California

Should my lawyer send correspondance to my ex's attorney without my approval?

Should my attorney draw up legal documents and submit them for the approval of my ex-wife (to her attorney) without my first having a chance to agree to all of the information in the document? My attorney has been doing this and it is causing problems because my ex & I make verbal agreements but when the attorneys exchange correspondance, the written agreements are not the same. It is causing my ex to believe that I am playing games with her and it is affecting my visitation schedule with our son.

Ask your attorney to submit all agreements to you before sending them to opposing counsel. That should clear up the communication problem. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
