lawyer help for single mom

dad is self employed and hiding most income. mom didn't work for 13 years of marriage. dad has kids because mom can't find work and has no money. mom owes child support. is there any way for mom to find/get help proving dads assets (actual income, new car, new boat etc.) mom and dad used to be very wealthy, and dad is smart at hiding assetts. mom is broke and cannot pay lawyer well.

Mom is way behind. She should have taken the children and requested child support. Father's income can be based on his income return. If he is hiding income then the standard of living could be used. You should search for an attorney that will represent and seek attorney fees from father. It will be difficult and perhaps impossible for you to become the primary custodial parent.
