Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can she leave?

My sister in law was dragged to California by her husband and now he isn't holding up his end of the deal. Can she come back home to Indiana with the 3 kids if he dosen't want her to? He claims that he will put up a fight for the children even though he currently isn't even living in the same city as they are. What can she do?

She needs to consult with an attorney regarding her options. The options available to her will depend upon the facts. If they have been in California less than 6 months, for example, she may be able to just move back to Indiana.
