Legal Question in Family Law in California

She left the state

An ex-girlfriend of mine recently came back into my life.

She had separated from her husband in St. Louis,

Missiouri and came back to California with her 1 year

old son. We tried to work things out to no avail. During

this time she became pregnant. Now she has

returned to her husband in St. Louis and has left me no

way of getting in touch with her. What are my legal

options?

In CA, you would have rights as a parent, if you are the father of the in utero child. You would have to promptly assert those rights and you would become liable for support.

Under MO law, I have no idea.
