What legal action can I take?
My 16 year old daughter whom I have sole and legal custody of doesnt want to live with me anymore because My other kids and I moved to another city about an hour away from our former home. She has a boyfriend and wants to stay near him. But ex is not suitable to be taking care of her but since she went for a ''Visit'' weeks ago she hasnt returned home and says shes going to live with her Dad now.-I have told her she has to come back with me but she just ignores my authority and does as she pleases--my ex--wont return my calls nor will he even tell her I called--Ive been down there a trillion times bvut nobody will tell me where she is when I theree and my ex will not let me in his apartment. I know she loves me and isnt doing this in a mean way--SHE JUST WANTS TO BE WITH HER BOYFRIEND--WHAT LEGAL STEPS CAN i TAKE?

You could take the court order for custody and the police to the father's home and force her to come with you. The risk with that action is that she may just run away from home. Often the best solution to a situation such as this is to mee with your daughter and counselor, to work out a solution.
