What is the legal age to baby sit for children under 10 yrs old, especially from hours of 4pm to 1am?

There is no set age for a babysitter. Rather it appears that the age depends upon the maturity of the person that is babysitting. Careful selection of the babysitter to select someone that is responsible should be enough to protect you.
