Legal assistance for a women and 2 children in financial distress
How do I go about to find an attorney or a public defender that can take my case in contengencies? My attorney request 15,000.00 to go forward I do not have the funds.

Public defenders are appointed to represent indigent criminal defendants. Family law cases are not contingency type cases.
You can go to the Family Law Facilitator's office at the courthouse and they will fill out your family law forms for free. Otherwise, you will need to find an attorney that you can afford to hire or have your husband pay for your attorney fees.
