Legal Name Changed

I want to change my name to my mothers maiden name. When I was born my birth certificat had my mother with her maiden name and myself with my father's name. She later took my fathers name. They are now divorced and I would like to switch to her maiden name even though she still keeps his name. What would be an easy way to do this change in the state of California. I live in San Diego, California if that makes any difference.
