Legal Question in Family Law in California

What is the legal definition of living together? Are there factors that make it "official" and thereby easy to prove (Such as having mail sent to the address, or having personal items present)?

In general, "living together" has no legal effect. Community property rights do not arise merely from living together. Please provide more facts as to your circumstances so that we can determine if a definition is really needed in your particular case.
