Legal Question in Family Law in California

Is there anything legal i can do fix my situation

I rec 600mo ssdi. H 3000/mo milt ret. + 1600 ssdi. states all 4600 is his. May 12 landlord called told me had 1week to leave husb not paid my rent in 5mo. On may21 rec legal sep papers and restraining order stamped filed jan11 H told me I have to sign. he was not going to be responsible for my debts. About 2yrs ago children needed sep homes. we sold home 60000profit. H paid 6mo my rent,bought me fridge washerdryer(cheapest). H kept rest. H would continue to pay my rent 1075. As of today, I put everything I own in storage and am living with H. I have no money and no place to go. H wants me to get boyfriend to live with til mychildren and his out of home. Tells me he is broke. H recently bought ford suv and owns a pickup. H 18 yrold son in legal problems dui, stole and sold H gun collection to drug dealers, speeding 25mph over limit.

Real quick, without thinking this over deeply, my hunch is that your hubby is starting to get senile. This could be a tough situation for you since he would fight you tooth and nail if you try to get conservatorship over him but that is really what you need. Can you try to tactfully point out that he needs your help in preparing for his old age and show him the benefits of good planning and conservative living? Sorry I can't give you legal advice on this, but there are other attorneys who can do a better legal analysis I am sure. I just have the feeling that the man needs your strong hand to keep him from really making a mess of his old age. You might try psychological counseling to check it out.
