Legal Question in Family Law in California
I am the legal guardian of my deceased best friend's daughter, the child is now residing with her paternal grandmother. I would like to know how to end guardianship as I am no longer responsible for her?

You and the grandmother need to jointly petition the court that approved the guardianship in the first place to transfer the guardianship to the grandmother.
