Legal ownership of house

My husband and I got a divorce and in the division of property, I paid him a sum and received ownership of the house. He has to move out by October 1st, 2007. What are my rights if he does not move? Can I call the police? Change the locks, etc.?

It depends upon the terms of the judgment. Do not change locks, as you could be incurring problems. The court can issue a removal order if he does not move. How difficult that would be to obtain depends on the wording of the judgment. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
