Legal Question in Family Law in California
need help, is this legal for a parent to do?
I have been married 7 years and have two kids ages 3 and 1. There are no custody papers or any legal papers filed at all. I watch the kids for 5 1/2 days out of 7.My wife has been like a psycho person lately,I found out she has been stalking me,installed key logging devices on my PC,I have found strange petty scorekeeping notes stashed among other strange behaviors she constantly text messages me if I do leave the house for more than 5 minutes with terrible, hateful and nasty things. She spends like money will be outlawed tomorrow. I got by mail 4 tickets and 2 towing bills for her car, I asked her about them and she lies then tells me to F*@K off! it's none my business. Now she has taken our kids and gone back east and won't respond. Can she do this? What are my rights? I miss my kids and I'm sure they are freaked out. Thanks

You need to immediately file a custody action. Retain a good child custody attorney. You will need one. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

Get temporary custody orders, track her down and get your kids home. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.

Based on the information provided, I am somewhat surprised that you have not already initiated court action.
In any event, you must act immediately to remedy the situation. You certainly don't need the situation where your wife files papers in another state. So, you should retain an attorney immediately to help you.
