Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a legal question. My son just turned 18 on Febuary 11th of this year. But he is disabled. My other removed him from my home in oct of 2010 without my premission. Now my disable son is in a safe house and the rep says my soon does not want to see or hear from me. Is this illegal? I need legal advice on what i should do next. I have 100 percent legal custody of my son who is disabled. How to i get my son back?

Your son is now an adult. The only basis for obtaining control over him is if you file a conservatorship. You can probably find help from your local bar association. It may have a clinic on establishing a conservatorship. This requires that your son is not capable of handling his own affairs.
