Legal Question in Family Law in California

Legal Residency

My husband and I have been married since 98. He is going to move out and live with some other female, and leave me here to pay the mortgage on the house that I can not afford that his parents own. What legal recourse do I have as far as residency, payment of home, including all neccessities, etc.?

Re: Legal Residency

If you remain in the house, then you will be expected to pay the fair rental value of the house. Since his parents own the home, why don't you move into something more affordable?

What do you mean by residency? please note that you do not have to make payments and if before divorce you and your husband made payment towards that house...you could get some money back. You need to consult an attorney. www.amyghosh.com
