Legal Rights of a 17 1/2 year old teen

If a 17 year old teen leaves home or is asked to leave home by her parents, can she legally choose to live with her grandparents without her parents permission.

If the teen is evicted from the family home she has to go some where. The court is not likely to object to the grandparents unless there is some illegal activity going on there.
