Legal Question in Family Law in California

Legal separation papers

My wife filed legal separation papers back in May, but I did not agree and did not sign any papers to the effect. I have heard nothing since from she or her lawyer and am wondering if there is a statue of limitations on this filing or does the filer (wife) have to agree and sign papers for it to become null and void. Thank you.

Re: Legal separation papers

You do not have to agree to a legal separation. I would recommend you contact an attorney directly to discuss your rights and parameters of the separation.
