Legal Question in Family Law in California

Legal seperation or divorice

I just recently left my husband. I am not ready for a divorice yet and was wondering what the advantage of a legal seperation would be. My husband is in the army and right now i am entitled to the housing money. After a seperation is final and we are still legally married am i still entitled to the housing money and insurance benefits or are those cut off? i want to know if I am still entitled to my spousal benefits with a legal seperation.

In California you would still be married.

Many military bases have a military attorney to give advice to members of the military, and their dependents. You should consult one of these attorneys for advice regarding your benefits.
