Legal Question in Family Law in California

Legal seperation

I am legally seperated. My husband signed over a car that was free and clear to me in the seperation documents. He then sold the car and said he would give me the cash so that I could buy a newcar. He kept the cash and refuses to give it to me. What are my rights according to the law?

Re: Legal seperation

You should seek a motion to enforce the judgment. The local family law facilitator in your county can help you self help. Or a qualified attorney can help you with the papers.

Good luck.

As always please consult a qualified attorney before taking legal steps.
