Legal Question in Family Law in California

Am I legally married?

I am a canadian citizen. I filed for divorce in 1999.I had no idea the length of the process would take two years. I met a man in California and we married at Loughlin Nevada. My divorce became only final Feb 2001. Am I legally married to the Man in the US (California)???We have been together nearly two years. Thanks..... HELP!!!!

No you are not legally married, but don't stress. Do the legalities effect the promises that you made to each other? All you have to do is get married again. You might actually enjoy a trip back to Laughlin or Las Vegas. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
