Legal Question in Family Law in California

lien on personal property.

Can I put a lien against my ex-husbands automobiles if he has failed to pay support over $35,000.00 and is showing no intentions on ever paying anything? He owns these vehicles and there is no lienholder currently on them.

If you are owed $35,000.00 in past due support, why put a lien when you may be able to levy on the vehicle. However, the costs involved with such a levy might be too high. I have collected past due child and spousal support for over 16 years. Please feel free to contact me...there may be other remedies available to you.
