i live in ca. if i bought a house, when i was single and then i get married. if unfortunately i have to file divorce or have to go through a divorce, will i keep my house since i bought it originally when i was still single?

The answer to this question depends on what funds were used in acquiring the house you bought. Even if you bought the house at the time you were single, if you used money from the marriage it could be that the marriage 'community' has a right to reimbursement for those monies paid.
