Legal Question in Family Law in California

I live in California and have been divorced for 12 years and have 3 children aged 15,13 and 11. My ex and l have shared custody. I want to move to Atlanta Georgia to be with my family and find employment.. Can a judge legally prevent me from moving out of state with my children with my ex having summer and holiday visits?

Yes, if the judge finds it is not in the best interests of the children.
