I Live in california, I have been falsely accused of domestic violence, for supposedly grabing my wife from her hands and pushing her against the car. She called the police a day after and got me arrested for having bruises on her wrists. I got out that same night with a bail. Today I called an attorney and the court is saying it is a mayor assult. What can I do, should I trust the attorney, or fight the case on my own?i don't have o lot of money.
