Legal Question in Family Law in California

Help

I live in Oklahoma but I'm here in Cali., doing all the divorce paperwork myself and have completed it all. Married 25 years and Plantiff stated 8 years and 2 months. This is why I'm here. He had told his Attorney many lies and I think he should have to pay my Attorney fee if I can get one. I recieved a letter that went to Oklahoma...L-31 form that I first sent to them and now they sent me one along with the packet. They also set a date for me to come into their Office June 18th. Is this NORMAL? I feel that they will try to railroad me by myself. I have the Marriage lic., to prove. My Husband didn't think I would have the money to get to Cali., to fight him and his lies, but I'm here. Please advise me.

Re: Help

You should find an attorney to represent you. It is possible to get a court order for him to pay your attorney fees. If his income is much higher than your you may find an attorney that will represent you and get his fees from your husband.
