Don't want to live with parents.
I dont'n want to live with my parents. Is there anyway that I can't live with them? I just tried of everything they put me through. They make me feel very sad about myself. If I can live without my parents. How do I do it. I'm under 18. Thank you for your time reading this.

You would have to petition the Court for emancipation (of a minor) under the circumstances presented so far. If you would like a free consultation on this matter, contact us directly.

Emancipation will be granted by the court only if you are able to support yourself. Emancipation terminates the duty of a parent to support the child. Have you talked to a school counselor about your home situation. The school counselor can fully discuss the facts with you. Depending upon your facts the school advisor may help you get some counseling and your parents may be willing to go to counseling with you to resolve the situation.
