Legal Question in Family Law in California

i lived in nc moved to ca and divorced my ex who still lives in nc. i didnt list property in divorce he wants me to sign quick deed i dont wantb to how do i make him sell the house and split itb ?

If the divorce was in North Carolina, then you need to repost this question in the forum for North Carolina attorneys to answer. North Carolina's divorce law is very different from California.

On the other hand, if the divorce was done in CA, then you got it right here.

I would not sign the quit claim deed regardless.

You need to have the courts divide the properties in whatever forum you filed the divorce.
