In a general sense, when a person with assets is contemplating marriage and wants to protect his or her assets, they should consider a pre-nuptial agreement prepared by an experienced family law lawyer. For a more specific answer, I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer as to your particular circumstances and needs. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
