Legal Question in Family Law in California

living trust

My stepfather recently passed away. My mom and stepsister are both trustees. My mom has dementia and I have power of attorney for her. My stepsister says she is now sole trustee and is telling us she is now ''in charge''. My stepfather left one half of the house to each of them, with my mom able to live there for up to 3 years or when she vacates before it has to be sold. She is now entering the house as she wishes and acts as sole trustee. Can I do anything to protect my mom?

Re: living trust

You need to take the trust to an attorney for a review of the terms regarding the provisions for the trustee.
