Legal Question in Family Law in California

How Long Do I Pay for Daycare?

I currently have two children for which I provide support and also pay half of the daycare expenses and also half of the medical expenses. My daughter is turning 12 this month and will entering the 7th grade. The daycare my children attend is licensed to take them until the age of 12. My ex says if I stop the daycare payments for my daughter in September she will take me to court on a "comtempt of court" charge. Exactly how long do I have to provide for daycare? I have no problem paying my support, but it looks like my ex is planning to have my kids in daycare until they graduate from high school. If the daycare is licensed until the turn 12 do I have to continue?

Re: How Long Do I Pay for Daycare?

what you pay depends on the support order. if you want it changed then go to court and get it modified.
