Long term marriages

Is sposal support usual awarded to life-long wife and stay at home mother. Now older and unable to work. Also not in the work force for 20yrs.Physically ill.

Yes you should request permanent spousal support in your divorce proceedings. Arguing for spousal support can be complicated. But not impossible.
